El pasado dia 29 de Octubre en Bilbao tuvimos la suerte de ver representada (producción del Festival de Radio France y Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon) esta ópera de Vivaldi, estrenada en Verona en el carnaval de 1735. Como probablemente ya sabéis, la música no es toda de Vivaldi: como bien decía el folleto que daban, Bajazet es el equivalente a un "hit parade" de la ópera del momento.
El conjunto Europa Galante, con su fundador Fabio Biondi en la dirección (y al violín) estuvo magnífico.
